SUMMARY:2022 Chamber Trip to the Capitol
DESCRIPTION:Senator Woodward has invited Chamber members to visit the Capitol on April 13. The agenda has to remain somewhat fluid based on many factors out of our control\, but currently includes:\n\n	Departing from the Chamber at 7:00 a.m. En route enjoy an overview of the legislative process from Legislative Alliance Ambassador to the Chamber\, Bill Brown. If you are driving separately\, arrive by 8:30 a.m. in lot at 1422 N. Grant. ($15 all day).\n	Meet Sen. Woodward around 8:40 a.m. to get seated in the Gallery by 9 a.m. and watch Senate/House Floors from 9 to 11 a.m.\n	Capitol Tour and Lunch with Senator Woodward's team and others as possible to discuss legislation noted below.\n	Business\, Labor and Technology Committee at 1:30 p.m. (if they meet this week\; TBD)\n	Meeting with Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance representative.\n	Depart for Estes Park by 3:00 p.m.\n\n  Legislation we'd like to discuss includes:\n\n\n	HB 22-1117 on Lodging Tax for Workforce Housing\n	HB22-1244  on Public Protections From Toxic Air Contaminants\n	Dept of Treasury re: The Colorado Secure Savings Program\n	Ways and Means cte re: unemployment insurance\n\n\nPlease direct other concerns to Bill Brown\, williamcbrown1953@gmail.com.
