DESCRIPTION:The Estes Chamber of Commerce and Visit Estes Park are partnering to present a Tourism Trade Show in alignment with National Tourism Week May 1-7\, 2022. The Chamber created this in response to the lodging community's request to bring back the trade show and Visit Estes Park joined in to make this a celebration and tribute to YOU -- the ones who make tourism possible. The purpose of the trade show is to connect the lodging community with suppliers and showcase the local businesses who create the whole customer experience for our guests. The Estes Inspired afternoon includes a State of the Tourism Industry address by the Colorado Tourism Office and cocktail reception with live music\, local food and loads of fun.\n\n\n\nWe also have seminars schedule all day on the show floor. Here's sneak peek:\n\n\n\n10 a.m.   Estes Valley Fire District\n\nTitle: Wildfire Adapted Community Education\n\nDescription: Senior Inspector Eshleman will go over the actions homeowners and business owners can take to lower their risk in the event of a wildfire.\n\nSpeaker: Raina Eshleman\n\n \n\n10:30 a.m. SBDC and the EDC\n\nTitle: Upskilling Your Team\n\nDescription: The Small Business Development Center and Estes Park Economic Development Corp will present solutions for small business and the hospitality training function of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.\n\nSpeaker: Hope Hartman from SBDC and Thomas/Jana from the EDC\n\n \n\n11 a.m. Vert Coworking \n\nTitle: Work from Anywhere!\n\nDescription: Vert will describe the concept of lifestyle coworking to help your team understand how to recommend this as a solution for the traveling professional looking to integrate tech-informed work and wellness into their stay.\n\nSpeaker: David LaSalle\n\n \n\n11:30  a.m. Colorado Secretary of State's office\n\nTitle: Business Licensing with the Colorado Department of State \n\nDescription: DOS licensing experts will share how the Business and Licensing division at the CO Department of State plays a role in helping Colorado's entrepreneurs succeed. It allows guests to give some love back to Estes\, where they come to play and stay. Givers can choose from seven different categories (Arts and Culture\, Emergency Response\, Conservation and Land Use\, etc). We all know people "Love Estes" and this is one way for them to be a meaningful part of our community\, to add "give" to their "stay and play".
