The Chamber and Economic Development &\; \;Workforce Council are hosting Bill Welter as he conducts \;a program on Critical &\; Strategic Thinking.
\nThis workshop explores some of the tools and techniques that can be used for critical and strategic thinking.

\nParticipants will:
* Be able to describe the actual work associated with the phrase &ldquo\;critical and strategic thinking.&rdquo\;
\n\n* Have a set of tools they can use to become better\, organized strategic thinkers. \;
\n\n* Know how and why many strategic plans fail to deliver expected results. \;
\n\n* Have an approach to improve their critical and strategic thinking. \;
\n\nParticipants will have worksheets and job aids that they can use to tailor their ongoing learning journey. \;

\nBill Welter\, our facilitator:

\nBill is a consulting-educator with over 50 years of experience across military service (USMC)\, engineering\, business consulting and education. He is a founding Principal of MindPrep Resource Center\, where he helps middle managers and business leaders enhance their thinking and leadership skills through writing\, workshops\, facilitation and coaching. \;
\n
\nBill has authored six books\, including \;The Prepared Mind of a Leader \;(2006)\, \;Rethink\, Reinvent\, Reposition \;(2010)\, and \;Pragmatic Strategist Workbook \;(2022)\, covering topics from critical thinking to strategic execution. He has served clients in diverse industries such as aerospace\, banking\, healthcare and retail. \;

\nBill holds a degree in Socio-Technical Systems Engineering from the University of Chicago and an MBA from DePaul University. \;
