DESCRIPTION:Join us for \n\nItalian Wine Dinner  @ Hunters Chophouse\n\nwith Italian importer Umberto Cantamessa of REBEVI Wines.\n\n \n\n\nUmberto Cantamessa grew up in the Piedmont region of Italy where he was exposed to some of the very best wines in the world\, and it whetted his appetite for more knowledge and more access to great wines. He started his career in his family's restaurant in ALBA (Piemonte) and then worked in a winery in Barbaresco\, which gave him 360-degree experience (from export to harvest to work in the cellar to sales). He currently lives in Italy.  In 2019\, he began his work with RIBEVI\, an Italian wine importer to the US. Umberto sees the role of RIBEVI as a caretaker for these small\, family-owned wineries. He knows every winemaker in their portfolio\; now they are part of his family.
