Description
Beer poking, also known as Bierstacheln in German, is a winter tradition that involves heating a metal rod in a fire and then plunging it into a glass of beer. This causes sugars in the beer to caramelize and the foam to become extra frothy. Don’t worry – the beer remains cool and drinkable, all while highlight the rich malt characteristics of the beer. Stop by the taproom and warm up with a beer after the Skijor festivities.
