Learn skills foundational to building understanding and satisfying relationships while gaining tools for creating more harmonious connections. Nonviolent Communication (NVC) can support self-understanding, empathic listening, and authentic expression. This experiential workshop will immerse participants in the principles and practices of Nonviolent Communication. Led by Kathy Ziola, certified trainer with The Center for Nonviolent Communication. Patrons who want to delve further into this program topic can borrow a copy of the book ‘Nonviolent Communication’ by Marshall Rosenberg from the Library’s collection or check out the Library's book club bag - complete with discussion guide - to share with a group. This program is the first in a series offered in collaboration with Estes Valley Restorative Justice Partnership to celebrate Conflict Resolution Month. Please join us on Zoom 5 - 10 minutes early to resolve any technical issues. The Zoom link will be emailed to you approximately 24 hours prior to the workshop. Register for any or all of the Conflict Resolution Month programs and you’ll receive an email with information on picking up your copy of this year’s featured title, ‘We Need To Talk’ by Celeste Headlee. A limited number of copies are available, while supplies last.
