Tardy Turkey Trot 2026 4-mile run/walk around Lake Estes
The Tardy Turkey Trot is a fundraiser for the Estes Chamber of Commerce's Economic & Workforce Development Council. The council supports the economic health of the Estes Valley and helps sustain a high quality of life for residents and visitors.
This year's turkey is running a little behind - it's headed to Estes Park right on time to lead the annual Catch the Glow Parade. Catch this turkey taking a morning jog around Lake Estes the day after Thanksgiving.
The Tardy Turkey Trot is a brand-new, family and stroller-friendly 4-mile run/walk. Gather your flock and join us for a holiday run with views that will leave you feeling extra thankful.
Participants will receive a Tardy Turkey Trot beanie, wearable lights and post-race food provided by Kissing Moose Cafe!
2026 Tardy Turkey Trot is presented by Bank of Colorado, prizes include $100 in local gift cards, each for the first-place male and female. In addition, the first person who manages to catch the tardy turkey, wins a $100 cash prize!!
