Ever since its doors first opened in 1999, the Twin Owls Steakhouse has been one of Estes Park’s finest dining and special event destinations and owned and operated by Sandra Huerta and Thad Eggen for the past eight years. For the past two decades, the Steakhouse has provided the perfect combination of Rocky Mountain splendor and the finest food and service, creating a truly memorable experience for each and every guest.

With nearly forty years between them spent amidst the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, owners Sandra Huerta and Thad Eggen have made a lifelong home for themselves in the Estes Valley. Together with their son Mateo, they take every opportunity to enjoy all the adventures that this spectacular corner of the world has to offer.

We are John and Dawn Clark, the proud owners of a lovely cabin, "Bear Pause".  We purchased our home in 2015 after vacationing in and loving Estes Park for 12 years with our daughters.  We decided to use the home as a VRBO.  We are extremely lucky to also have a smaller cabin on our property which we rent out long-term.  Ponderosa Realty has been instrumental in renting out our cabin and helping us make our home safe and comfortable for our family and our guests.

Although I work full-time as an accountant for Delaware North Companies (DNC), at the Holiday Inn Estes Park and also at Trendz at the Park, my past and passion are more aligned with both entrepreneurship and coaching. Back in Texas, prior to moving here in 2019, I owned and operated a 240-student dance studio. This, along with years of coaching synchronized swimming, is really where my heart lies.
