About Us

The mission of the Estes Valley Library is to be a hub of community-driven resources to share. The Estes Valley Public Library District spans the town of Estes Park and the surrounding region, including Glen Haven and Pinewood Springs. Library patrons have access to over a million physical and digital items through the Village Catalog, a partnership with all four school libraries (Elementary, Middle, High School, and Eagle Rock School). The Library also has an extensive Library of Things, including items like telescopes, critter cams, crafting projects, and more for patrons to check out and use at home. Other resources include internet, computers, and printing services, plus free 24/7 Wi-Fi indoors and out. The Makerspace offers a room for hands-on creativity and collaboration, equipped with tools, craft supplies, and project kits. Learn new skills through workshops, including 3D Printing and Laser Engraving. One way the Library lives out its vision of a connected Valley where people and ideas flourish is through community programs, including book clubs and storytimes. Outreach services to children feature Grab & Go Kits (educational activities for kids) and free books mailed to preschoolers through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. We also offer live online homework help and live online job help (resumes, interviews, job searches). Library resources are also delivered to the homebound for free through the House Calls program.
