About Us

The Historic Park Theatre is a women-owned independent movie theater and event space built in 1913. Proudly hosting weddings, rehearsals, fundraisers, family reunions, and more since 1989. As the oldest operating Single-House Movie Theatre in the United States, the Park Theatre provides a unique setting for weddings or your next function. Receptions take place in the theater's lobby built in the 1920s, and ceremonies in the theatre's auditorium. The theatre provides a vintage elegance for any wedding or event looking for a unique setting. The theatre holds true to its 1920s architecture and charm, with original red hardwood flooring in the auditorium, old time concession stand, and grand lobby. The theatre still holds onto its roots showing movies year-round. From new releases, silent movie festivals, classic reshowings, and special events such as the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
