About Us

Kent Mountain Adventure Center (KMAC, KMACGuides) is a professional Guide Service specializing in Rock Climbing and Wilderness Travel. Based in Estes Park since 1987, we focus on education as it relates to wild places in Colorado and Utah. We have week long, residential Rock Climbing Camps for youth, weekend trips for adults and custom courses for people of all ages. In the winter we teach everything from half day snowshoeing trips to multi-day avalanche education. An American Mountain Guides Association certified business and Silverton Avalanche School avalanche curriculum provider. Finally, we are also rad as hell. But don't just take our word for it, USA Today named our Via Ferrata a Top 10 New Attraction in 2021.
