We are four miles from Estes Park, East of town on highway 34. We are right on the Big Thompson River between mile marker 66-67 at the second bridge.
About Us
Rustic River Cabins are tucked away in the Big Thompson Canyon just 4 miles from the city of Estes Park, Colorado, on the Big Thompson River. We are close enough to Estes Park to enjoy all that the city and the Rocky Mountain National Park have to offer – yet far enough from town to skip any crowds or traffic.
We offer seven all-seasons, pet-friendly cabins on 16 acres. The cabins sleep between 2 and 6 people, depending on the cabin. Built in the mid-1940s, the cabins have a rustic feel that makes you feel part of the Rockies. We wow you with charming decor, sparkling clean showers and bathrooms, and well-stocked kitchens. You’ll love how our cabins bring the outside in while still maintaining a modern feel, including TVs with satellite, free Wi-Fi, and microwave ovens.
It is our pleasure to introduce a brand new rental home from Rustic River Cabins, Cabin 9, Hawthorne House. This home was built in 1912 and Rustic River Cabins is only the second owner of this 100 plus year old gem. We
